Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas but is very harmful to humans and animals. Most cases of carbon monoxide poisoning result from an unknown leak of CO gas. The best way to keep safe from harmful co gas is to have a co detector much like many homes have a smoke detector. In fact, you can even find combo smoke and carbon monoxide alarms but they are a bit more expensive.
