The Old Protestant Cemetery Macau - A Resting Place Filled With History

The East India Company constructed one of the oldest remnants of the colourful history of Macau, the Old Protestant Cemetery Macau during the early 18th century. The cemetery that is now considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO was constructed due to the lack of burial site for Protestants of the Macau colony, which was monopolised by the Catholic Portuguese community.
