Chess is the noblest of games who's true origin is untraceable, some claim it dates back to the days of the Egyptians and a game called "fox and hounds" other claim it dates back to early Persia, other have claimed depending upon your view that it's a gift or a curse from the Gods. The current incardination of the game dates back to the 15th century and has evolved until the 19th century where it took its current form.
